The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 2 Teacher to join us to be a part of a primary school team on a part-time basis for one year, starting in September 2024. This position is through the supply agency Accelerate Teaching. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of raising attainment and the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective lessons tailored to Year 2 pupils.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and well-being.
- Utilise data and assessment tools to monitor and report on pupil progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student development.
Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant teaching experience in Key Stage 1.
- Demonstrable success in raising attainment levels.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and best practices in primary education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to fostering a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
