Electrical Project Manager

Calling all Electrical Project Managers!!!

Our client, commercial contractors with over 30 years industry experience, are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage electrical projects. The role of the Electrical Project Manager requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, particularly within fast-paced environments such as NHS projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and manage electrical projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring all work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee skilled labour teams and site management personnel, providing guidance, support, and effective leadership to ensure project goals are met.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Ensure all necessary permits and compliance measures are in place.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and control project budgets, providing regular updates and reports to senior management. Ensure financial efficiency while meeting project objectives.
  • Quality Control: Implement and oversee quality control measures, ensuring all work meets regulatory standards and company quality guidelines.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all site activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and audits.
  • Office & Site Work: While primarily office-based at our Langley, Berkshire office, this role will require regular site visits and meetings to ensure projects are progressing as planned.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Management Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a project management role, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • NHS Project Experience: Extensive experience working on NHS or similarly fast-paced projects is essential.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and guide teams to success.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues before they impact project timelines.
  • Driver's License: Must hold a valid UK driver's license.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: £65,000.00 - £75,000.00 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Company Car: A company car will be provided as part of the compensation package.
  • Pension Scheme: Enrolment in the company pension scheme.
