Position: Permanent, Full Time, 37 Hours per week

Citizen is offering an exciting opportunity for a Multimedia Content Specialist to join our communications team and deliver high quality concepts to our customers and clients across a range of digital, print and visual media.

The successful candidate will be able to engage our audiences by creating visually compelling designs and engaging video content that helps achieve Citizen's goals of enhancing the brand identity and bringing to life in the storytelling fashion of Citizen's strategy and purpose.

In housing you can make a real difference, the role of Multimedia Content Specialist will involve:

  • Produce finished design work, proofs and present final designs to internal clients
  • Collaborate with other specialists in the communications team and across the business to incorporate work/ideas into the final product
  • Develop creative and innovative design concepts, layouts, and visual assets for various projects that might include logos, branding materials, social media graphics, website elements, PowerPoints, posters, leaflets, Mailchimp templates.
  • Presenting final design concepts, including specifications for fonts, images, colours, text and layout, to internal clients for their approval
  • Owning the brand guidelines, be the gatekeeper and evolve them and develop brand toolkits to drive consistency and efficiency
  • The subject matter expert to advise on what is technically possible for video and design and produce a proposal including, for example, the range and scope of the work and realistic timescales
  • The primary in-house videographer, planning the shoot and edit footage in post-production edit and mix audio elements, including dialogue, music, and sound effects, to ensure high-quality audio for video projects
  • Attend campaign planning sessions, coming up with new ideas and creative concepts for communication and marketing campaigns across all channels, to drive awareness, engagement, consideration and conversion.

As a Multimedia Content Specialist, we need you to have:

  • Experienced in presenting work and contextualising the visual direction alongside customer insight
  • High attention to detail and excellent proof-reading
  • Advanced experience in directing, storyboarding, preparations, directing filming and editing
  • Advanced graphic design experience and animated graphics for video use
  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, layout composition, and video editing techniques
  • Proficiency in graphic design software and video/animation editing software

We would be really excited if you have:

  • A knowledge of motion graphics, visual effects, and audio editing
  • A relevant degree or similar qualification
  • Previous experience in the housing sector
