This is a hybrid Head of Procurement opportunity working from the office 2-3 days per week and from home at other times. In addition to salary, you will also receive a bonus of up to 30%.
As Head of Procurement you will:
- Lead the company's efforts in driving cost-effective and efficient purchasing practices while ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory standards
- Drive the development of an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy that supports the company's commitment to sustainability and ethical practices.
- Lead the sourcing, selection, and negotiation processes with vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality facilities, goods, and services.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and facilities management, focusing on cost efficiency while managing and mitigating risks effectively.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the team, fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and professional growth.
We are keen to speak to people about this Head of Procurement opportunity who have the following skills and experience:
- Have worked in a buying, purchasing role with experience procuring in China.
- Diploma in Chartered Institute of procurement and Supply (MCIPS of FCIPS).
- In-depth understanding of purchasing principles, sourcing strategies, and contract negotiation.
- Proficiency in inventory management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and procurement tools.
In return you will receive a salary of £75,000 - £85,000 pa plus bonus and 28 days holiday plus bank holidays.
