The company continues to push boundaries and is looking for a Group Financial Controller to play a pivotal role in its ongoing success. You will work closely with the CFO, leading a dedicated finance team and ensuring the highest standards of financial control and reporting across the group.

About the Job:

As Group Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the group accounting function, engage with senior stakeholders, and lead a skilled finance team. Your role will be integral to maintaining financial control standards, driving consistency across the group, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting in compliance with UK GAAP (FRS102).

Duties will include:

  • Leading the development and improvement of finance policies and manuals to ensure consistent financial control standards.
  • Collaborating closely with the CFO and senior finance team members to review and analyse rolling forecasts of profit/loss and cash flows.
  • Reviewing and approving all month-end reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial systems.
  • Leading the budgeting process, particularly regarding staff costs and overheads.
  • Managing the production of timely and accurate monthly management accounts and reports for the Board and Senior Management team.
  • Overseeing the preparation of statutory and group management reporting, ensuring tax compliance across all legal entities, including intra-group arrangements.
  • Managing group and entity cash and cash flow positions, including forecasting.
  • Leading the Financial Accounting team, covering Group/Regional Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.
