IT Support Engineer

Allegiance Technology are now in a position to hire an IT Support Engineer confident in providing 1st/2nd Line Support, to join their dynamic technical support team on a personal basis. You will be responsible for providing technical support, ensuring efficiency and stability of IT systems, and application support.

Location: Poole

Salary: Up to £30,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second-level technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote access.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and network equipment.
  • Perform system monitoring, maintenance, and backups.
  • Install, configure, and update software and hardware components.
  • Assist in the deployment and management of IT projects.
  • Document technical procedures, configurations, and support interactions.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure efficient and effective support delivery.

Experience:

  • 12 months experience of Helpdesk support
  • Practical experience with Office 365 Admin Centre, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Active Directory
  • Windows Server
  • Group Policy
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
  • Virtualisation
  • Azure
