Reed HR are working with a dynamic and rapidly growing law firm based in South London who are seeking an experienced HR Assistant/Coordinator to join their team.
The HR Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting their HR department with various administrative tasks and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across onboarding, benefits administration, payroll, HR projects and recruitment.
This is a flexible position offering the opportunity for fully remote working alongside occasional office visits for meetings.

- Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, conducting reference checks and issuing employment contracts.
- Support the HR department in implementing policies and procedures.
- Help organise and manage new employee orientation, on-boarding, and training programs.
- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
- Maintain records of personnel-related data in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met.
- Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.).
- Support the HR manager with various tasks as needed.

- Proven experience as an HR assistant, staff assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position.
- Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
- Experience with HR software, such as HRIS..

- Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills.
