Part Qualified Financial Accountant - Bedford - Up to £50,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part Qualified Financial Accountant to join a leading, well-established, Private Equity-backed organisation in Bedford. This role offers a chance to be a key part of a dynamic team, contributing to the continued success and growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
- Provide financial analysis and support for various business projects.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Ideally towards the end of their studies.
- Strong technical accounting skills.
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within a Private Equity-backed organisation.
