Role Overview:
As the Head of Projects, you will play a pivotal role in leading the successful delivery of our client's cutting-edge digital solutions. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of installation projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Your remit will include the deployment of advanced technology, managing cross-functional teams, and engaging with key stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end delivery of installation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client expectations.
- Technology Deployment: Oversee the implementation of complex digital solutions, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- People Management: Manage and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and effective problem-solving.
- Cost Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project success.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and innovation within the project management function.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in a senior project management role, ideally within digital transformation or the retail industry.
- Strong background in technology deployment and installation projects.
- Exceptional people management skills, with a track record of leading diverse and multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in cost management and budgeting.
