Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and informative lectures and practical sessions in electrical installation to students at various levels.
- Develop and implement lesson plans and curriculum materials that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students to facilitate their learning and skill development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of electrical installation and incorporate relevant updates into teaching practices.
- Maintaining accurate records and adhering to external body requirements and institutional policies.
Requirements:
- A relevant qualification in electrical installation or a related field and previous experience working as an electrician or in a similar role. AM2 essential or current JIB or ECS Gold card registration
- Possession of a vocational qualification at Level 3 or higher, along with relevant teaching and assessing qualifications (or willingness to attain them).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively convey complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within the college community.
