We are currently looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client based in Highbridge on a permanent basis. As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to designated locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating and driving heavy goods vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
- Ensuring all deliveries are made on time and to the correct destination
- Completing all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately
- Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
- Reporting any vehicle defects or issues to the appropriate person
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 license
- CPC qualification
- Good knowledge of driving regulations and legislation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and nights when required
