Life sciences /or biology/computer sciences graduate with an interest in toxicology and IT databases could suit this unusual role focussed on supporting the development, change management for a bespoke IT system in toxicology of a global organisation that enables the regulatory team to document and assess Toxicology and Product compliance subfunctions.

With training the Toxicology Database Change Specialistwill be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the Toxicology related improvement pipeline, engaging with partners using the IT system to map processes and proposing changes to existing business processes supporting the initial testing of the IT solutions before deployment.

As a toxicology database and change specialist you would be responsible for ensuring that appropriate training is built for system users incl. update of associated SOPs, training updates/uplift and train the trainer sessions.

Testing system improvements will require planning and engagement with multiple collaborators to ensure the team resources are in place for timely execution of the test, and deployment to system and help to develop training materials.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Responsible for ensuring Toxicology requirements across category in the Product Life Management (PLM) process are embedded within the system developments.
  • Understanding of Toxicology and Product Compliance evaluations and processes & translating these requirements to enable IT support teams to develop appropriate solutions in the bespoke IT system
  • Experience in the bespoke IT system.
  • Out of the box thinking on how processes can be improved/enhanced to enable system simplicity while delivering process improvements.
  • Owner of training and supporter of communication plans for the systems stakeholders.
  • Support Toxicology change lead in understanding the 'problems' experienced by users to facilitate escalations to senior management and impact assessments.

QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE:

  • Science background (biology toxicology)
  • Strong interest in IT and databases
  • IT project experience
  • Data management experience
  • May suit someone with interest in toxicology
  • Planning and project management with proven ability to deliver projects.
  • Database development experience.
  • Attention to detail and handling large data sets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Visio.
  • Experience of delivering change through organisation.
  • Strong communication skills (strong stakeholder engagement, networking and collaboration).
  • Agility to highly changing environment
