About the role

A brand new and exciting position to join the Central Operations Process Loss team as a Loss Specialist to help us drive down losses in our stores but also process fails upstream in the warehouse.

There will be a real focus on our Central Tagging Operations which has started on a journey to increase capacity in several different ways, and we need you to drive that forward the output and efficiencies.

What you'll need to have

You will report into the Process Loss Manager within Central Operations and have regular contact with the Warehouse leadership and Tagging Team Leader. The role is cross functional working at its best with a joined-up focus of reducing loss. Some of the other teams you will have close interaction with are Trading, Supply Chain Planning, Stores and Finance who are pivotal to delivering some of ambition in the upcoming year.

  • Excellent customer focus that makes sure that we deliver the right products to the right place at the right time
  • Create a positive ‘can do' culture
  • Can manage stakeholders at different levels
  • Can review the weekly/monthly loss KPI's and dashboards and collate data
  • Pre-empt any problems and take the appropriate action to deal with them
  • Support the "New Tagging Team Leader" to achieve their targets with support and challenge
  • Ensure the Central Operations Leadership team are kept engaged through effective communication
  • Collate data the team on agreed KPIs
  • Look to build a Central Tagging Plan for the future in year 2 and 3
  • Embed a "New Tagging Process" that is fully adopted by different teams within the business
  • Be inquisitive to ask questions to unlock process opportunities that may require fixing / re-stating
  • Work with outside suppliers to implement new kit and provide feedback
  • Ability to review data within SAP, Power BI and Excel to provide insight and recommendations for the future
  • Work with our Store teams to understand the work we are investing and further opportunities to expand and maximise in the future
