£40,000 - £50,000 + benefits
Reading - Hybrid (3 days in office per week)

This business is going from strength to strength and needs extra resource within finance to support their growth and associated change projects.
The Role
This is a hands on Accountant role which will be reporting directly into a supportive Head of Finance and will be involved in the following:
- Full ownership of month end close activities for two small entities
- Fixed Asset accounting and control
- Management accounting for specified areas and entities
- Posting of accruals and prepayments
- VAT returns
- Business Partnering to some internal departments (review of budgets and spend)
- Oversee and suppoort AP and AR processing when workloads require extra resource
- Prepare and review daily bank reconcilaitions
- Review and process payment runs
- Provide ad hoc support to payroll
Your Profile
We are looking for a fun and enthusiastic Accountant to join a great team.
You'll need a good grasp of double entry and related accounting/reconciliations. There is extensive interaction with the wider business as well so being a people person is essential!
This role would suit someone with prior experience in month end accounting tasks in small to medium sized businesses where you need to roll their sleeves up and help team members across a wide variety of accounting tasks.
Salary & Benefits
£40,000 - £50,000 plus benefits. The business operates a hybrid model with 3 days per week in office. The office has parking on site and good bus links.
