The Burford Recruitment Company is delighted to partner with our clients, a newly refurbished luxury grade 2 listed hotel, in the picturesque town of Burford, Oxfordshire.
They seek a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join their prestigious culinary team. As a Chef de Partie, you will be integral in supporting the kitchen's smooth operation and maintaining the high standards of culinary excellence that the establishment is known for. This role provides a fantastic opportunity for growth and creativity in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior chefs to create and execute seasonal menus that highlight innovative dishes and local ingredients.
- Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation of high-quality dishes and the smooth operation of your designated station.
- Prepare and cook food to the highest standards, paying meticulous attention to presentation and taste.
- Work closely with other kitchen staff, promoting a culture of teamwork, creativity, and efficiency.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and quality control in line with regulatory requirements.
- Support the training and development of junior kitchen staff, sharing your knowledge and passion for culinary arts.
- Assist in managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimising waste to optimise kitchen operations.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to resolving kitchen-related issues and ensuring smooth service.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or a similar role in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or luxury hotel setting.
- A strong passion for culinary arts and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a section of the kitchen efficiently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

- 45 Hours per Week on a Rota Basis
