Partnership Tax Accountant

This is an exciting opportunity for a Assistant Partnership Tax Accountant to help manage and coordinate taxation matters within the business. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing support to the Tax team in London. This is a ongoing temporary / contract role.

Client Details

Our client is a well-respected international financial services business. Based in Central London. Hybrid working (3 days per week in the office).

Description

You will be responsible for assisting the partnership manager on the tax matters and the position will report into the Head of Tax EMEA & Asia.

  • Manage member current and capital accounts
  • Admission of new members, including reviewing contracts, HMRC registration, calculation of drawings
  • Resignation of members; Assistance on final tax reserve statement
  • Preparation and distribution of annual RSU statements
  • Annual filing of employee related securities (fka Form 42)
  • Cash-flow reporting for the partnership
  • Provide support to the Corporate Tax Manager, as part of the monthly provisioning and corporate tax filings
  • Assistance on global and local tax projects, as necessary.

Profile

  • Part Qualified / Qualified CTA/ACA/ACCA
  • Partnership Tax understanding
  • Excellent general knowledge of all UK taxes
  • Exposure to a variety of international jurisdictions - preferred
  • Working knowledge of RSU accounting and taxation desired
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP and US GAAP
  • Advanced Excel
  • Strong communication skills
  • Motivated professional who can effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Diligent, bringing a results-driven focus to his/her work; seeks opportunities to improve processes, aiming to improve quality of deliverables, controls, and/or efficiency
  • Efficient and high-quality execution with exceptional attention to detail and commitment to timelines
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
