Description
The key responsibilities of a Finance Manager will include, but may not be limited to;
- Supervise a team of financial transaction staff.
- Ensuring all financial and systems reconciliations are performed.
- Identifying and implementing improvements to IT systems.
- Oversee the delivery of high quality accounting services.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Maintaining good relationships with external stakeholders.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- Not for Profit and Charities background desirable but not essential.
- Ability to commute to Carlisle.
- Experience in managing a financial transactions team.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and procedures.
- Excellent leadership
- Proven ability to develop and implement financial policies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present financial information clearly.
