This role requires a Finance Manager who will be responsible for overseeing a team focused on delivering high quality accounting services within the not-for-profit and charities sector.

Description

The key responsibilities of a Finance Manager will include, but may not be limited to;

  • Supervise a team of financial transaction staff.
  • Ensuring all financial and systems reconciliations are performed.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to IT systems.
  • Oversee the delivery of high quality accounting services.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining good relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes.

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • Not for Profit and Charities background desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to commute to Carlisle.
  • Experience in managing a financial transactions team.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership
  • Proven ability to develop and implement financial policies.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present financial information clearly.
