Role Summary

The Pension Technical Analyst will be responsible for time critical reporting and manual payments. The role is collaborative in nature and the candidate will be required to liaise with several departments within EQ retirement solutions to ensure all reporting is completed correctly and within specified timeframes.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

  • Acting as a focal point for technical queries
  • Compliance with scheme rules, industry regulations and pensions legislation
  • Provide expert advice and guidance
  • Contributes to the design and development of new approaches and solutions in line with business and/or client needs
  • Responsibility for production of technically sound processes and procedures
  • Collates and analyses data to produce solutions
  • Maintain an awareness of other business activities and work flexibly across other departments
  • Service improvement and efficiency identification
  • Ad-hoc activities as determined by Operational Manager
  • Manual Payments
  • Daily Reporting to client

Skills, Capabilities and Attributes

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills and behaviours:

  • Excellent attention to detail and capable of following defined processes and procedures
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven track record of quality, timely delivery
  • The ability to develop positive and productive working relationships
  • Computer literate with a willingness to learn a variety of systems
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Experience of Trade Dates / Box Management preferred
  • Previous pensions technical analyst experience is essential
