About the Project:
My client is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Site Engineer to join their team for a high-profile hospital project in Letterkenny. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a £50 million project that is currently 9 months into its 3-year timeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring smooth, safe, and on-schedule progress.
- Setting out
- Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
- Technical Oversight: Manage and sign off on reinforced steel and concrete works, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
- Surveying: Utilise modern surveying equipment to assess and map site developments.
- Drawings Interpretation: Accurately read and translate engineering and architectural drawings into actionable plans.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, and other stakeholders for cohesive project execution.
- Quality Assurance: quality management and BCAR coordination
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve issues or challenges during the construction process.

Essential Skills & Experience:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Technical Expertise: strong setting out experience IE AutoCAD, total station, GPS ect
- Proficiency: Experienced in using modern surveying equipment.
- Drawings Interpretation: Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Attitude: Demonstrates a progressive attitude towards work and continuous improvement.
- Leadership: Capable of managing teams and ensuring collaborative efforts towards project goals.
