Role: Internal Sales / Sales Apprentice

Package: £26,000 - £30,000 + Bonus - Very dependant on experience - No weekend working!
We are looking for a genuine people person, someone who's able to engage with customers and who wants to develop a sales career within the construction supplies sector.
No experience required but personality definitely is! Full training is provided and there is a clear induction program to bring you up to speed. It is not normally possible to enter the industry at an Internal Sales level.
Are you looking for a career in the supply of construction materials / construction sales! Perhaps you are a graduate or college leaver who would like to be trained to an internal sales level, with further progression guaranteed for conscientious people. Most of the Managing Directors and Regional Directors we deal with started at this level and this is an industry where you can still be genuinely rewarded for hard work!
This sales role is all about personality. It is almost like an Apprenticeship role / Graduate position. No sector experience is required, but they need to find someone who has the attitude and aptitude to pick up new skills, new ways of working, new products etc. Someone who is bright, ambitious and not afraid of hardwork. Someone with an entrepreneurial flare and customer service skills are critical. After full training is given, this role will involve new business development and telephone sales calls. Therefore, to find the right person with the right attitude, they are willing to offer the right person this training. Determination and personality are crucial with this role and you have to be confident in your approach and be a person that people want to deal with.
With a substantial network of branches our client supplies a range of timber and building products to the construction sector. This company has an optimistic, friendly and highly driven approach. You should ideally share these qualities.
This is a very important role for our client. They don't want an order processor!! They need a proactive, hungry sales professional who's confident in their manner, great to talk to and methodical in their approach to ensure that high level of service is delivered at all times. The financial rewards are definitely there, once trained there is a strong bonus package on offer.
The internal sales role is a natural 'stepping stone' to an external sales role which is an enviable position within the industry.
