Description
You will be supporting a busy transport function ensuring smooth operation of scheduling and planning of vehicles. Liaising across internal teams and vehicle operators.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all jobs are planned effectively
- Preparing comprehensive jobs packs
- Processing material movements
- All company and client paperwork is correctly completed
- Checking, processing and filing paperwork
- Ensuring all compliance with VOSA and Working Time Regulations
- Uploading and analysing driver information
- Processing invoices
Profile
We're seeking an experienced transport / logistics planner with exceptional attention to detail. You will be enthusiastic with the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team to deliver in a busy and fast moving environment.
The successful applicant will have:
- Good technical knowledge of MS applications and logistics software applications
- The ability to communicate at all levels across a business
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and be agile in problem-solving.
- Excellent administration skills
Due to the location of the site access by public transport is limited and therefore applicants are advised to have their own transport for which free parking is available on site.
