We are looking for an experienced Systems Support Operator for an immediate start temporary assignment based in Cardiff Gate.
Working within the Transformation, Innovation & Digital team you will be responsible for providing 1st line technical support and duties will include: -Answering support queries.
- Logging incidents using the in-house service desk tool and working closely with staff and external suppliers to ensure issues are accurately reported and resolved in a timely manner.
- Providing user support for IT systems, troubleshooting problems and advice on the appropriate action.
- Analyse, Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues.
- Assist with the testing of released fixes from internal engineering teams and external suppliers.
- Setup new users in supported systems.
- Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via the phone or electronically.
- Provide updates to users as requested and in conjunction with agreed SLA's.
- Assist in the delivery of projects.
The successful candidate must have previous experience in a similar role together with:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Entra ID/Active Directory - Dynamics and/or Power Platform
- Basic understanding of database concepts and application lifecyle management (ALM)
- Strong communications skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels.
- Attention to detail.
- The ability to work to targets ensuring deadlines are met.
This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Rate of pay is £15.93 per hour.
