Boston Hale is currently working with one of London's largest charitable housing associations who are looking to recruit a Head of Financial Accounting and Control.
Daily Duties
- Ensure internal controls and financial policies are reviewed and updated and ensuring these evolve with the organisations needs and changes to regulations
- Manage the preparation of the group quarterly and bi annual statutory accounts and submission of regulatory returns
- Lead and manage the interim and year end audit process
- Analyse complex data, review solutions and reach data driven conclusions
- Successfully mentor the financial accounting and control team supporting continuous learning and professional development
- Prepare quarterly cashflow reports for key legal entities in the group
Required experience:
- Fully qualified
- Prior leadership experience within a similar environment
- An understanding of complex regulations and financial management practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to provide expert technical knowledge
