We are working with a well-known Travel Industry trade association company (based in London) who after launching new product in recent years, are not looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager to join their Events / Partnerships team and to help grown the brand further in the B2C space.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong relationship-building skills and an understanding of the travel sector to help cultivate new business relationships whilst developing existing ones.
This role is based on a fixed one-year term, reporting to the Commercial Director and closely with the Senior Commercial Marketing Manager
Duties:
- Actively seek out new business partnerships to promote the company Travel Insurance and Travel Money while managing existing ones.
- Analyse the products' success against KPIs and targets, with regular meetings with the suppliers to keep performance on track and ensure fair value for customers.
- Ensure the quality of the product is maintained and any customer complaints are actioned swiftly with successful outcomes.
- Proactively identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities and support the delivery of any product change.
- Manage the delivery of actions from board reviews, product reviews and audits.
- Work closely with the marketing departments and external agencies to ensure the products are marketed in the right way to achieve targets and KPIs
- Attend events and conduct presentations when required to promote the products
Skills & Experience:
- Strong relationship building skills
- Excellent written skills and clear communication
- Drive, enthusiasm and proactivity to succeed in a commercial environment
- Have demonstrable stakeholder management skills and be a good negotiator
- Commercial awareness with understanding the travel industry, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Proficient in analysing performance and market opportunities
- Relevant knowledge of travel insurance, including an understanding of FCA regulation, is desirable
The Package:
- This if fixed term contract, with the strong potential to go permanent
- A salary of £45,000 - £55,000
- Hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days from home)
