Growing commodities brokerage firm seeks ambitious, hardworking individual to act as a trade assistant/ middle office operations support for its growing team of brokers, serving various commodity markets. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking employment in the commodity markets, working with seasoned industry professionals in a dynamic work environment. Position Responsibilities:
- Support brokers on multiple brokerage desks with trade execution and administration.
- Maintain customer information for transaction, billing and regulatory purposes.
- Ensure daily and monthly reports (both internal and regulatory) are completed and address any issues that may arise.
- Ensure documentation on processes is kept up to date. Candidate Characteristics and Requirements:
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and ascertain priorities independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Microsoft Excel formula understanding as well as capabilities for mental arithmetic.
- High level of written and spoken English. Additional languages may be useful if there is an overlap with our markets.
- Any experience with Trayport, ICE and commodities markets will be deemed an advantage.
