Hydraulic Fitter Position Overview
My client are currently looking for a Field Service Hydraulic Fitter based in the Leamington Spa area to be responsible for the build, testing and inspection of fluid power systems and components. This is a field-based role where you spend 75% of your time on site, however some work in the workshop would be required as well.
Responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting of hydraulic systems (in-house and on-site)
- Testing of hydraulic valves, cylinders, and accumulators and other components
- Setting of hydraulic valves and other components
- Testing of hydraulic systems (in-house and on-site)
- Build and testing of hydraulic hoses (swaging, flushing and testing)
- On-site services with the maintenance of hydraulic systems
- Undertake other tasks, within your capability, as directed by the Operations Manager
- Follow all company HSE and QA/QC Policy in line with any statutory requirements as directed
- Ensuring right First Time (RFT) completion of allocated tasks
- Undertake and complete all allocated tasks in accordance with the On Time Delivery (OTD) requirements of the operation
Hydraulic Fitter Position Requirements
- Clean, valid UK drivers' licence
- Good communication skills
- Advanced Modern Apprenticeship in Engineering
- City & Guilds
- Hydraulic Training (Preferably NFPC)
- Electrical competence
Hydraulic Fitter Position Remuneration
- £34,000- £38,000 DOE
