£22,500 - £26,000 Per Annum - Experience Dependent

General:

As a 1st Line Service Desk Engineer, you will be responsible for working within the Service Delivery Team as a first port of call for customer issues that require technical assistance during their day to day. You will be working alongside Senior Technicians on the Service Delivery Team to make sure that tickets are dealt with in a timely manner and escalated appropriately if required to senior team members.

You must have strong communication skills in a well-thought-out and user-friendly manner. You will be responsible for working alongside 3rd party providers and directly with customers so strong interpersonal skills is a must.

The role will require travel to client sites and as such having a car & driver's license is required. Out of hours overtime as well as weekend work (paid at time x1.5) will be required on odd occasions so flexibility is a must.

In addition to being skilled analytically and technically, you also want to learn and are willing to gain relevant qualifications and accreditations, ultimately, you'll be developing your IT skills and we'll be happy to help you achieve this

Duties to Include:

  • Providing guidance to our customers and resolving complex Fault Tickets within SLA.
  • Desktop and network troubleshooting/fault finding.
  • Wifi Administrator and Troubleshooting
  • Understanding and collation of customer requirements over telephone/teams' meetings.
  • Liaising with vendors to resolve queries.

o Knowledge of Apple Mac Platforms / Mac OS
o Using an IT focused ticketing system

o Windows Servers (full range)
o Office 365 / SharePoint Experience
