Main Duties of the Reliability Programme Manager:
To support a strategic client undertaking a long-term national infrastructure project within nuclear engineering, our client is looking to appoint a Reliability Programme Manager to initially lead an established and growing project team. This team is dedicated to achieving their client's goals during concept and development phases through the implementation of risk management-based dependability principles, including Design for Reliability, Design for Maintainability, Safety-Led Design and Requirements Traceability. In particular, their objective is to support their client in ensuring their facility will safely meet its operational demands while complying with regulatory requirements.
Managing a team of subject matter experts within their dedicated project team focused on AR&M, RCM and Functional Safety, your role is to provide support, facilitate co-ordination and collaboration, and manage, monitor, grow and efficiently delegate resources while liaising with their client to ensure their objectives, expectations and deliverables are met. Essential Skills/Experience

Relevant degree in an engineering, science, mathematics or similar discipline

Extensive knowledge and practical experience in a range of systems-level risk management techniques, such as:

Reliability Block Diagrams

FMEA and FTA
-
HAZOP and LOPA
-
Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM)

Demonstrable management skills and experience including:

Managing projects and staff as required to deliver on-time to the right quality.

Managing data across teams, to ensure that the most up to date information is available and utilised.

Identifying, engaging and managing stakeholders across a range of project functions.

Ability to review the work of colleagues in a constructive and supportive way while ensuring the quality of output from the team is maintained.

Ability to recognise, understand and apply relevant industry standards and regulations diligently throughout the work of managed colleagues.

A Systems Engineering mindset, able to identify and model physical and organizational factors influencing reliability and safety of products and processes.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present clearly and convincingly to technical and non-technical audiences at a senior level.

Self-motivated, ability to multi-task and with the drive to achieve objectives.

Confident, flexible and inclusive team-player who can solve problems with initiative.
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Commercial reliability engineering and/or mathematical software.
- Nuclear safety case development and regulations
- Asset Management.
Due to the nature of the project work, you will need to be a British National and be able to achieve the necessary security clearances.

Please note, for this immediate role within the nuclear industry, you will be required to work a minimum of 2 days per week on-site with their project team in Warrington.
