Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, helping them grow both academically and personally.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and utilize strategies that cater to each student's specific learning requirements.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment, focusing on the social and emotional well-being of the children.
- Support teachers with classroom activities, ensuring that each student receives an engaging and supportive educational experience.
- Keep parents, caregivers, and relevant stakeholders informed with regular progress reports and communication.
Requirements:
- Prior experience working with SEN children is highly valued.
- Must exhibit patience, understanding, and a deep commitment to supporting the unique needs of SEN learners.
- Ability to modify teaching techniques to suit various learning styles.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid driver's license and access to transportation are preferred due to the school's location in Merton.
Salary and Benefits:
