Health & Benefits GB is a specialist centre of excellence in all aspects of health, wellbeing and risk benefit consulting and benefit technology for corporate clients. With more than 200 consultants and support staff, this team supports the design, financing, delivery and management of integrated benefit solutions that are tailored to meet clients' needs.

Within the Health & Benefits GB business, the Digital Solutions & Delivery practice (‘DSD') is

responsible for delivering H&B client facing technology solutions and flexible benefits consulting services to its clients. The DSD GB team delivers a full flexible benefit service from strategic benefit consulting, design consulting, admin consulting, project management, communication consulting and ongoing administration and consultancy services. The team also advises clients utilising external provider platforms, working alongside said providers.

The Role

As a senior member of the Health & Benefits team, you will be comfortable having broad conversations with clients and prospects and helping them define their future benefits strategy. This will involve building strong relationships at senior, strategic levels and promoting our benefits technology and associated consulting solutions.

As a Client Manager you will lead benefits management platform implementations for a portfolio of clients, providing flexible benefits consulting and oversight of the project. Post implementation you will continue to manage the client relationship with the WTW team. In addition you will provide strategic benefits consulting for our broader portfolio of consulting clients.

You will promote our offering both within our internal and external market and play a lead role in developing new business opportunities working alongside our sales team.

Responsibilities:

Client Management

  • Work with clients to help define their benefits strategy and develop their benefits approach and design.
  • Act as Client Manager to a portfolio of clients through implementation and provide oversight and relationship management beyond.
  • Develop and grow effective and financially sound client relationships.
  • Ensure that clients and prospects have a clear understanding of WTW's broader services, and that the services delivered for each client are a good fit for their needs.

Excellence

  • Develop a broad understanding of WTW's services and solutions.
  • Understand and stay up to date on your clients' business situation, strategy and HR, risk, and finance needs alongside the latest market developments and employee benefit trends.
  • Successfully articulate in meetings, in written communications and in formal presentations the overall WTW proposition and specifically the features and benefits of our solutions.
  • Increase efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes.

Growth

  • Meet role-appropriate sales targets and chargeable hours goals.
  • Play an integral role in growing revenue through new client acquisition and revenue growth for your portfolio of clients.

People

  • Mentor and coach members of client teams to develop relationships and grow their consulting skills and employee benefits knowledge.
  • Build your own network to create strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels.
  • Collaborate effectively.

The Requirements

  • In depth technical knowledge regarding flexible benefits legislation, benefit design and funding.
  • Proven experience of working with flexible benefits platforms.
  • A good understanding and appreciation of all benefits and design implications.
  • A consultative style.
  • A track record in sales and new business development, ideally in flexible benefits.

  • Well organised and detail oriented (e.g. able to both plan and communicate efficiently).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and able to articulately adapt style to suit the purpose and audience
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues; strong client service orientation.
  • Ability to work both independently and on client teams and enjoy a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter; interest in continually challenging oneself and willingness to step outside of one's comfort zone.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
