Quality Engineer

Pertemps are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join our client who began from humble beginnings. Having passed down over 70 years of innovation, our client is continuously creating breakthrough products to make their customers' lives easier and more efficient.
Quality Engineer Duties;
- Identify route cause and implement continuous improvement.
- To investigate reported non-conformances, both internally and externally.
- Understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and change point control management.
- Experience of working cross functionally with other departments in the business to resolve concerns and promote quality.
- Preparation of quality system documentation.
- Capable of interpreting technical drawings and measuring to determine if a component is within specification limits.
- Comply with all current work instructions within the organisation.
- Comply fully with all current health, safety & environmental regulations in operation within the company whilst carrying out your duties.
Quality Engineer Requirements;
- Strong experience within a quality inspection / engineering role.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment – ideally for the plumbing industry.
- Understanding of new product introduction and new product development.
- Advantageous to be qualified to support internal audit programme to ISO 9001.
- The ideal candidate is a strong leader, and confident communicating with staff and clients at all levels.
Quality Engineer Package;
- This is a full time permanent position.
- Monday to Friday 8am – 4:30pm.
- Salary up to £47,000 with flexibility - depending on experience.
