Power BI Developer – 1 month contract – Fully remote
My customer is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to build and maintain robust reporting solutions as well as provide guidance on building reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong SQL background, expertise in data visualization, and a keen eye for data security and privacy.
It would be beneficial if the Power BI Developer has a background working for local governments/councils.
The Power BI Developer would work fully remote for the duration of the contract
Key responsibilities for the Power BI Developer:
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide meaningful insights and support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
- Utilize SQL to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI.
- Implement data visualization best practices to ensure clear, accurate, and engaging reports.
- Ensure sensitive data is properly handled and not exposed in reports or dashboards.
- Optimize Power BI datasets for performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data issues and discrepancies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices.
This Power BI Developer would work fully remote for the duration of the contract.
