Learning Support Assistant
Tradewind is currently seeking an experienced learning support assistant to work with a pupil who has additional needs in Key Stage 1. The pupil is on the autistic spectrum and displays challenging behaviour throughout the School day. You will need to be able to support the pupil access the curriculum and work in KS1 on a 1:1 basis for the full academic year.
The School has two classes per year and two sencos which enables them to support all new members of staff who join their team. The School is based on the outskirts of Dunstaable,
***Learning Support Assistant - Mainstream School based in Bedfordshire
***Working 1:1 with a pupil in KS1 on the autistic spectrum/SEMH difficulties/additional needs
***Competitive Pay Rates (Term-time only work)
What we are looking for:
***Min 6 months experience in a mainstream or SEN School
***ASC, SEMH and SEN knowledge/experience
***Degree qualified or relevant qualifications to the education sector
***(Highly Desirable) competed Pecs/Makaton courses
***Able to effectively help pupils access the curriculum
