CAD Engineer

We are seeking a CAD Engineer with a strong background in material handling equipment design, particularly with steel or metal. This role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and a passion for engineering design.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Design and develop detailed plans for material handling equipment using AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to conceptualise and refine product designs.
- Ensure all designs meet the required specifications and industry standards.
- Produce and revise technical drawings and documentation as needed.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible for production.
- Participate in design review meetings and provide technical input.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CAD Engineer, specifically with material handling equipment.
- Strong knowledge of steel or metal design.
- Proficient in AutoCAD software.
- Ability to interpret and produce technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant engineering qualifications are highly advantageous.
