Job Title: Passenger Assistant for School Bus

Job Type: Part-time - Monday to Friday
Salary: £12.83 - £14.83 per hour
Are you passionate about ensuring the safety and well-being of children during their school commutes? Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a Passenger Assistant to support with a local private school. This role is to start in September and to last until February half term. The hours are 07:50 am until 10am and 2pm until 4pm.
Responsibilities:
- Safely escorting children to and from school during transportation.
- Providing first aid assistance if needed.
- Ensuring the comfort and security of passengers throughout the journey.
- Assisting children with special needs or medical conditions, including epilepsy, with care and compassion.
Requirements:
- Full training in first aid (Full training will be provided if not already have)
- A Valid Enhanced DBS
- Previous experience working with children
- Commitment to ensuring the safety and welfare of children.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour.
Responsibilities:
Your day starts with a prompt pickup from the driver within Lincoln. You'll then support the pupils on the school bus, ensuring they're safely seated and ready for the journey. Once at school in Scunthorpe, you'll assist them with disembarking before the driver drops you back at Lincoln.
In the afternoon, the process repeats: the driver picks you up within Lincoln, you collect the children from school, ensure their safe travel, and finally, the driver drops you back at Lincoln.
