We are working with a fantastic school in the Swindon area to find a passionate, enthusiastic individual to take on a Classroom Assistant role. The school have a full time opportunity available for a candidate to join their staff in September 2024 to support their students throughout the school day
The Classroom Assistant Role:
- Supporting students with various additional needs from 8:30 - 3:30
- Helping students maintain focus and motivation on lesson material
- Acting as a role model to students
- Being a safe space for students to express their feelings and find solutions
- Collaborate with class teacher to create engaging lesson plans and tasks
- Participate in team meetings regarding students' progress
- Full training for the role
Working as a Classroom Assistant will mean providing children with guidance and support throughout the day, with the aim of building the students' confidence and independence. The school are looking for a Classroom Assistant to work alongside the Class Teacher and help the students reach their full potential in both academic and personal goals.
