Finance Officer
Location: Caldicot
Position: Full time, Permanent (Hybrid working available)
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 p/a + benefits

This position is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to progress and step up their career. Responsibilities of Finance Officer:
- Process and manage all Purchase and Sales Ledger transactions
- Raising sales invoices and credit notes in line with purchase orders
- Follow and chase debtors when necessary
- Reconcile bank and ledger statements and ensure all accounts are balanced
- Prepare and review financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements
- Assisting the Financial Controller with the month end
- Dealing with internal and external finance queries when required
- Performing other adhoc accounting and administration duties related to the processing of Accounts
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience within a busy Finance team
- AAT or equivalent finance qualification
- Planning and organisational abilities, able to prioritise workload accordingly and work to deadlines timely
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Proficient across Microsoft platforms, Excel in particular
- The ability to engage and develop strong relationships
