**Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse learning needs of students, ensuring all are able to access the material and achieve their best.
- Regularly assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
- Prepare students for exams, including GCSEs, by equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed for success.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning, curiosity, and respect.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring that the learning environment is conducive to education.
- Work closely with colleagues within the department and across the school to ensure a consistent and collaborative approach to teaching.
- Engage with parents and carers to keep them informed of student progress and offer guidance on how to support their child's learning.
- Participate in school-wide activities and initiatives to support the broader educational and pastoral development of students.
**Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3 and KS4).
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths.
- Proven ability to differentiate teaching to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
**Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience preparing students for GCSE exams, with a track record of successful student outcomes.
- Experience using digital technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
