Are you experienced in negotiation and supplier management? Do you have experience across a variety of indirect categories?
We're supporting a business based in Burton on Trent to recruit an Indirect Buyer to join their talented procurement function. This is a great opportunity to work for a business that are the market leaders in an interesting and thriving industry.
They have flexibility with working from home but also with the ‘core hours' too.
The procurement team are exceeding their cost saving targets YOY and are on target to do so again this year.
Day to day you'll be:
- Implementing and leading sourcing strategies.
- Review and negotiate contract terms.
- Manage key supplier relationships.
- Support internal stakeholders with supplier performance reviews.
- Analysing and managing data.
A variety of indirect categories would be hugely beneficial for this, as you'll likely be covering a wide range with plans to expand or move categories in the future.
