What You'll Do:
- Financial Record Keeping: Meticulously document financial transactions, including inputting invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Invoicing and Payments: Manage customer payments and handle invoices efficiently.
- Expense Management: Keep track of credit card purchases and expenses.
- Petty Cash Handling: Oversee and manage petty cash transactions.
- Systems Maintenance: Maintain our garage management system.
- Month-End Reconciliations: Ensure accurate reconciliations and journal entries at month-end.
- VAT Returns: Prepare and complete VAT returns.
- Supplier Payments: Handle payment runs for suppliers.
- Management Accounts: Assist in preparing management accounts.
- General Duties: Take on various day-to-day tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Preferred in bookkeeping, office management, and customer service, but full training is provided.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Word, Excel, email communication, and familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in all tasks.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and customer-focused attitude.
