Working as part of a team to establish a new way of Digital Trading within the Global Insurance Industry, you will work collaboratively with the Head of Technology and your peers to support both the set up and subsequent rapid growth journey of a new part of WTW, winning new customers and expanding into new markets internationally.
We are looking for an innovative MuleSoft Engineer who thrives in an agile and collaborative environment. Your role will involve spearheading the development and management of integrations using MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform to support our rapidly evolving product and business needs.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Design and implement cutting-edge APIs, integration flows, and connectors using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform tailored to startup scalability and agility.
- Engage actively in the entire project lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, in a lean and iterative approach.
- Collaborate intensively with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and business analysts to drive integrations that align with business goals.
- Champion the adoption of API-led connectivity to foster a reusable and modular approach to system integration.
- Address and resolve complex technical challenges, adapting to the evolving needs of a startup.
- Drive continuous improvement in our integration processes, advocating for best practices, efficiency, and security.
- Play a key role in rapid prototyping and MVP development to test new ideas and features.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of APIs including versioning, deprecation, and retirement strategies.
- Foster a culture of learning and experimentation, staying updated with the latest in MuleSoft and associated technologies and sharing knowledge across the team.
- Proven track record as a MuleSoft Engineer, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of API-led connectivity and hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Strong programming skills and experience with Java, XML, JSON, and web services (RESTful and SOAP).
- Ability to work in a flexible and fluid environment where goals and requirements may constantly evolve.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a creative and innovative mindset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, thriving in collaborative team environments.
- MuleSoft certifications are a plus.
