Responsibilities
The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that Product is fit to be shipped to Customers.
Main purpose of roles
First Off, In & End of line quality assurance of manufactured items.
Certify & approve the compliance of product to the required UK and International standards in line with Company procedures.
Main Duties
- Inspect product at Line and Final Inspection
- Inspecting and measuring precision parts.
- Issue Product certification to the required standards
- Raise Internal and Supplier NCR's
- Product Compliance & Calibration
- Working both in line and end of line where required to ensure all departments and operatives are compliant.
- Ensure that ISO9001 and other such standards are followed and maintained.
- Work with the rest of the Manufacturing team to deliver continual improvement across the department & perform root cause analysis.
- To assist the Test & Production Groups whenever the business requires it and when it is practical to do so
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for goods in inspection in line with the quality alert process and supporting Quality Engineering in new product introduction activities.
- To ensure both the maintenance and continual improvement of all Inspection Department processes and procedures
- To continually review all available data within the Inspection department, looking for failures and investigating the cause, where possible implementing a solution
- To ensure both the maintenance and continual improvement of the company's QMS
- Support in the analysis of business KPI's & support of the Quality strategy
- To ensure all procedures within the Quality Management System are being used correctly, amongst others this includes CAPA, Non-conformance & ECN (where possible this is to be done by providing guidance and offering training)
- Adhere and respect the company's Health and Safety procedures and to maintain a safe work environment.
