Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts & Data Reporting Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and providing support in data reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Maintain and update financial records and databases.
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.
- Generate and distribute financial reports and data analysis as required.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements.
- Contribute to process improvements in accounting and data reporting procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather data and resolve issues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounting, finance, or data reporting roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (knowledge of advanced functions like VLOOKUP and pivot tables is a plus).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
