JOB TITLE: Senior Digital Product Owner
LOCATION: Barton-upon-Humber
SALARY: Up to £75,000 DOE
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Digital Product Owner to lead the development of a new greenfield, native mobile application. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in defining, developing, and launching mobile apps that meet user needs and business goals. They will also have a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and agile development methodologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the performance and customer experience of mobile applications, including defining stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritization of backlog to maximize value.
- Work with internal and external customers to understand customer needs.
- Gather requirements and take a hands-on approach to projects when needed, showing leadership and support to the BA team.
- Own the day-to-day relationship with third-party digital transformation agencies, leading daily and weekly catchups to ensure successful roadmap delivery.
- Coordinate roadmap requirements from the wider stakeholder group, working in harmony with other Product Owners.
- Track and report on project benefit realization versus key objectives and forecasts.
- Assist in the creation of business cases for larger change projects relating to the product area.
- Act as the subject matter expert for the product internally and externally, serving as the primary contact for related queries.
- Keep project sponsors and key stakeholders updated on the product backlog, project timelines, and overall performance.
- Own the consultation process with key stakeholders when presenting new ideas.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in product management or related roles.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and launching digital products.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and agile development methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with product analytics tools and methodologies.
