Job description
Our client is looking for a Designer to produce designs for components for the packaging industry. An opportunity to work on exciting new and some existing projects with some leading household names for clients.
Responsibilities:
- Producing new designs for new projects
- Updating designs on existing packaging machines
- Producing drawings for external suppliers to be able to send quotations and ordering parts
- Aiding the sales department with technical visits of customers for new projects
- Producing machine manuals for new projects
Requirements:
- Experience working with conveyors and/or packaging machines
- Good knowledge of Solidworks and PDM needs to be proficient on Solidworks ideally already using on daily basis
- Experience working with pneumatics in the machine designs
- good knowledge of computers
- proficient using Microsoft office
- Helpful if had experience designing components to be made using laser and water cut process
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday - 8am to 4pm
