Retail Solution Architect (SAP ECC) role - Hybrid - IR35 outside
I am currently looking for a Retail Solution Architect that has experience of unpicking SAP ECC to move off it to other systems.
You will need to have retail experience and SAP background, but not too much SAP focus - i.e. experience of how it works and the challenges, but the solution architect and experience in retail is more important.
You will work closely with the companies cross-functional teams to enhance flexibility, scalability, and maintainability.
Your expertise will be crucial in transitioning from monolithic SAP architectures to more modular, decoupled systems that better support the business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Transition State Architecture, Programme Architecture (role and organisation) and Business Analysis; Pilot new Architecture Ways of Working
- Analyze SAP (ECC) system to identify opportunities for decoupling.
- Lead the development of a Target State Architecture based on Business' Target Operating Model.
- Lead the development of the Transition Architecture(s) for the programme delivery; Pilot new Architecture Ways of Working
- Complete BU stakeholder interviews
- Helping the client understand the architectural complications and understanding how it can be shaped and guided
- The client wants to move from monolithic to component based architecture. Understand the challenges of this. Have a SAP background.
Key Skills:
- Experience in designing & implementing decoupling strategies for SAP ECC
- Experience with SAP Cloud Platform and ABAP programming

Location: Paddington, London. (Hybrid work model) -
Length: Up to 12 months
