Account Manager

I cannot speak highly enough of my client (a B2B energy company) – I have been working with them since they were a start-up, and I have watched them grow from strength to strength ever since. They promote their staff from within (I've seen my candidates receive more than one promotion in their time there) and will always encourage and support.

I am currently assisting them in the recruitment for a Sales Account Manager to join their existing team of 8 to manage a portfolio of clients. This is a brand-new position within the team – they continue to grow as a company and have done incredibly well since they were created by their parent company in 2016. Working in the account management team means that you will be given a portfolio of energy brokers who you will build and maintain a positive working relationship with.

As a Sales Account Manager you will:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with brokers and third-party intermediaries to drive business growth.
  • Manage the entire tender process, from initial enquiry to deal acceptance, ensuring that all requirements are met.
  • Analyse market trends and customer needs to make informed decisions on pricing and deal structure, with the aim of driving growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve targeted financial growth through retention, upsell, and new sales.
  • Acquire a deep understanding of the company's services to effectively understand customer needs and position solutions.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Business Support and Operations teams both before and after sales to ensure customer satisfaction.

You do not need to have energy experience, but if you have 2 - 5 solid years of corporate sales experience (ideally in the same company as we're looking for longevity), we will certainly be interested in seeing your CV.

  • Competitive Salary + commission
  • Hours - flexible working hours with core hours between 10am and 3pm (35 hour working week), Monday - Friday - 3 days in the office, 2 days at home
  • Based in beautiful offices in West London
