Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Public Sector Organisation in South Yorkshire to recruit a Procurement Manager on a permanent term basis.
A strong background in procurement, with technical procurement experience across of a variety of category areas, is required.
The role offers a hybrid working policy; 2 days on-site, 3 days working from home.

Role:
- Procurement lead for transformational strategic projects across the procurement function
- To provide management, leadership and expertise
- Provide expert knowledge of and compliance with Public Sector Regulations
- Implementing transformative change initiatives and developing innovation to unlock the full potential of best practice procurement
- Managing end to end tender processes to meet a variety of stakeholder requirements
Individual:
- Public or Private sector experience is required
- CIPS qualified, or relevant experience
- A strong background in procurement, with a proactive mindset
- An innovative thinker, with the ability to hit the ground running
