In this role, the success Junior/Trainee PAT Tester will be testing electrical appliances to make sure they comply with electrical safety regulations and accurately recording test data using industry-standard equipment and ensure proper labelling of tested appliances.
The ideal PAT Tested would have an electrical background or similar and be keen to pursue a role and career in PAT Testing. They must also either have DV, or be able to achieve eDV clearance before they start working.
The Role:
- Apply your understanding of electrical safety regulations to conduct thorough PAT testing.
- Utilise your knowledge and expertise to test various equipment, primarily but not limited to, desktop equipment and some fixed installations.
- Accurately record test data using industry-standard equipment and ensure proper labelling of tested appliances.
- Identify and potentially rectify minor faults during testing, ensuring equipment safety.
- Maintain a professional demeanour while representing the company at client sites
The Person:
- Must be a British Citizen or eligible for enhanced Developer Vetting.
- Commutable to Tewkesbury.
- Electrical experience or similar.
