Warehouse Operative / Van Driver
Part-time (3 days a week)
Working Hours: Driving: 7:30 - 16:30; Warehouse: 08:00- 17:00 (plus overtime)
I am seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative / Van Driver to join my client based in the Hounslow area. This role involves both warehouse duties and driving responsibilities within the Greater London area. The ideal candidate will have a steady work history, a full UK driving licence, and experience in warehouse operations. A forklift licence is beneficial but not essential.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Perform collections and deliveries across the Greater London area.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles manually or using a forklift truck.
- Check for damaged or missing items and sort stock for storage in the warehouse.
- Accurately label goods and store them in the appropriate space.
- Maintain precise records on the warehouse management system to ensure quick location of stock.
- Optionally operate a forklift truck to move and rearrange stock and ensure products are stored safely.
- Manage bookings of goods in and out of the warehouse.
- Pick orders and pack them securely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse.
- Adhere to strict health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 2 points).
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Forklift licence (optional but advantageous).
- Physical fitness is essential due to the nature of the job involving heavy lifting.
